I have 35 years of teaching experience, including 6 years teaching maths in UK secondary schools, and I am DBS-checked.

 

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education, verified by NARIC, and prepare all students for GCSE and iGCSE maths exams. I can also provide extra support with maths vocabulary and Russian language assistance for non-native English speakers.

I enjoy helping students understand Maths clearly and gain confidence, especially those learning in English as a second language — we focus on math vocabulary and real understanding. I’m married, have an amazing daughter, and a lovely dog. In my free time I love baking bread, knitting, and diving in the Red Sea.

 

My goal is to help each student succeed through a personalized approach and additional resources, including YouTube videos for independent learning.
